Format & Documentation of Research. All essays must be submitted in proper format. To this end, they must be TYPED, DOUBLE-SPACED, with 1 inch margins. Please use a reasonably-sized and easy to read font (i.e. Times New Roman for serif, Helvetica for sans-serif.) In essay assignments, analysis assignments and your final project, you must document all sources from which you draw quoted passages or significant ideas by inserting footnotes, which must be prepared in the Chicago Manual of Style format. Please do not use a parenthetical referencing format (APA).
