As mentioned in Chapter 14, a useful tool to use in the analysis of global trends is PEEST, an acronym for political, economic, environmental, social, and technological forces that affect the person, organization, or destination under study (Bird & Thomlinson, 2017): Politcal Environmental Economic Social Technological A table providing examples of item(s) falling under each of these categories is below. Identify an industry organization for you to complete a PEEST Analysis. Do not select the same organization you used to complete the SWOT Analysis. Use the table below as a model for completing your PEEST Analysis. Be sure to include a minimum of three items under each category in your table.
