The Effects of Communication Styles on Marital Satisfaction 

Students will write a literature review of a topic agreed upon by the professor. Topic ideas should be emailed to the professor by week one day 7. Students will then research the topic and write an APA style review of the literature. Though this will not be an exhaustive review of literature students are expected to write a 5-7-page review of 7 scholarly articles on that topic. Students should identify 3 subtopics and should identify gaps in research and areas future research should look at. Proper use of APA style 25 points Writing style (grammar/spelling) 20 points Writing clarity and thought and cohesiveness 40 points 5-7 page minimum, 7 sources minimum 15 points Identification of 3 related subtopics, gaps in research, future research suggestions 25 points
