Trance Dance

Write a 4-5-page paper. This is an opportunity to further explore an area of dance covered in this course. Students can: 1). Compare and/or contrast two different styles of trance dance, 2). Weigh how two different individuals contributed to the development of a trance style, 3). Investigate how and why a trance style has changed or remained the same during a specific time period, or 4). Analyze differences of a trance dance style in two different geographical areas. Combinations of any of the 1-4 options are welcome as well, with instructor approval. One primary source, and one secondary source are REQUIRED! Rubrics for this assignment are posted on Canvas and will be discusses in lecture. MUST be submitted in MLA format, double spaced, 12 pt. font in either Times New Roman or Calibri, 1” margins. ALL SOURCES MUST BE CITED PROPERLY (standard “in-text” citations are required for ANY information that is not your original idea).
