Globalizing empires

Both the Han Dynasty of China and the Roman Empire have been called “globalizing empires.” Write an essay which does ALL of the following: a) clearly defines the term “globalizing empire,” explaining why both the Han Dynasty and the Roman Empire fit this definition, and b) compares or contrasts one (or more) specific aspects of the Han Dynasty with the Roman Empire – for example, their political system, their economies, their military, their family structures, their major religions, or so forth. You are limited to the textbook Worlds Together, Worlds Apart, and other scholarly sources for this assignment. Popular sources, whether in print or online, may not be used for this assignment.
