Ancient Civilization

Research Question: Much of what we know about ancient cultures comes from knowledge gained through studying the art of ancient civilizations, including paintings, sculpture, literature, theater, and architecture. In a 3-4 page paper analyze how art allows us to have an enriched understanding of ancient cultures. Instructions: Pick three of the following eras: Mesopotamia or Egypt Minoan or Mycenaean Greece Classical Greece Rome Identify 2-4 works of art from each of the selected eras and examine how that work allows us to better understand the identified civilization.
