Who is the main character in each play? Describe the world that each main character lives in. Are these characters living in the real world or in a world they have created for themselves through their own actions? Explain. Do people exist today who are like these characters or is this something that is relevant only to the time period of the play? Do the characters share any similarities? What are they if any? Is the main character the protagonist or the antagonist? Explain. How do the stage directions help the reader to understand each play?
