Babel Rhetorical Analysis
Rhetorical Analysis is because Babel is a very complex movie that can be discussed in many ways. Although not everyone related the movie to our readings about rhetoric and cross-cultural communication, watch it again and choose one specific scene/shot from the movie Babel and write a 4-page rhetorical analysis of the most important elements of this scene/shot. What kind(s) of messages is this scene trying to convey? Who is the intended audience? Why? What are some important rhetorical strategies? Why? Important: Your paper should have 4 pages of full-written text and a 5th page with your Works Cited sources. This time, your works cited sources will only come from our book Writing About Writing–especially the ones you should read for the last couple of weeks. No external sources should be incorporated into your paper this time.
