It’s a near certainty that you’ve accessed the World Wide Web at some point in your life. You’re likely comfortable with your understanding of what you’re using and you have some idea of how it works. The Web, however, is like an iceberg: It can appear small and simple above of the water, while beneath it is massive and complicated. There are many things that go into a simple query for information, for instance, and many pieces to the infrastructure that allow those things to happen.
