Post Operative Infections: Longer Recovery? 

 (PICOT)…What is the duration of recovery (O) for patients who have gone through total hip replacement (P) who developed a postoperative infection (I) as opposed to those who did not (C) during the first six weeks of recovery (T)? This Evidence-Based Paper is for my capstone class. My topic has already be approved! Each week I have a portion of the paper due. Next week I have the literature review and appraisal due which is a 2-5 page narrative synthesis summary of the key findings of evidence to support my PICO. Most sources should be no older than 5 years. Sources older than 5 years are okay if the study supports my PICO question. I need at least 3 relevant databases for search. Along with the paper I need a table….I uploaded the grading rubric.
