You have been tasked to 1) develop a more effective affirmative action plan; and 2) draw up a ‘diversity and inclusion’ employee development and training plan for managers, supervisors, and employees of Hoosier National Forest. Read the case study and answer the following questions: 1. Executive Summary: A one page executive summary of your response to the case questions 2. Introduction: Describe the organizational context and problem, and critically assess the prospects and challenges of developing a comprehensive policy for recruiting and maintaining a competent and diverse labor force in the public and nonprofit sectors. 3. Problem Solution Options: Discuss three ways to make Hoosier National Forest’s affirmative action plan more effective. In your response, also discuss how managing diversity and complying with anti-discrimination laws are not the same. 4.
