The employee experience guide
The employee experience guide
This activity was supposed to be in groups, but I am doing it by myself because I am doing it as a recuperation activity. Below I put the description of the activity, and a link that must be read to do the activity. I will also upload the original document with the instructions for the paper and the slides from the class, so that it is easier to follow what the professor requires for the assignment. DO NOT PRETEND IT WAS DONE IN GROUPS (the professor know I am doing it by myself, so it only needs to be specified). Link: https://www.omnione.com/career-resources/detail/4300/take-control-of-your-employee-experience Instructions: Group Activity: The Employee Experience Create a Practical Guide with recommendations to offer an attractive and engaging employee experience in the whole employee life cycle with the different process and tools of HR learned in class. Imagine that you are consultants that have been called by a CEO of a Technological company. He/She is worried because they have grown very fast (they were a start up 5 years ago and now they have 2000 employees in 10 different countries and are planning to grow 20% next year). They have not had a professional Human Resources within the team. The CEO realizes that the attrition rates are growing, and the initial energy and engagement is no longer there. At the same time the CEO realizes that the managers are not finding the talent that they need as they did before, and the employees are asking for training, promotion and clear evaluation procedures. Your mission as consultants is to help the CEO to understand: • What does an HR department can do for them? • How the HR department should be structured? • How their functions and procedures will be responding to the demand of the employees attending them in their life cycle and providing them a good employee experience together with the business managers? In order to do it, make sure you; • Understand the employee life cycle and employee experience (link above) • Draw the different phases of the Employee experience and identify one or two moments (recruitment, training, performance evaluation, etc..) that you considerer more important for the CEO to start with and help the CEO to understand it. • Use all the information acquired throughout the course, including the resources provided, activities carried out, etc Steps to follow: a) Create a diverse group (gender and culture diversity) b) Outline a project plan for the Activity 4 identifying: o What are the objectives of the project ? o Which and where are the sources for the content? o The actions you will develop to reach your objectives and reach the content (pe: accessing such and such webs, analyzing such and such companies, looking for such and such resources, talking with etc…)
