Theme Statement: theme sentence about “The Necklace.”

This paper will have two parts the first part will be one page with the theme thesis statement following the instructions given and the second part will be the essay itself based on the theme thesis statement following the rules and outline for the essay. Please read and follow all instruction given they are from the instructor.

PART ONE: 1. Page one will be a stand-alone page: Theme Statement: theme sentence about “The Necklace.” The sentence will be the thesis statement of your essay. Then, discuss how you will prove your argument. The thesis should state what Maupassant reveals about human nature in “The Necklace.” PART TWO: 1. This is the essay itself based on the thesis statement and the argument presented. 2. The essay alone has to be 3 to 4 pages 3. Work cited will come from my literature book (it is the only source that can be used): Work Cited Maupassant, Guy De. “The Necklace.” An Introduction to Reading and Writing, edited by Edgar Roberts, and Robert Zweig, 6th ed., Pearson, 2014, pp. 7-13. 4. Please do not research the story on the Internet, or incorporate quotations from outside sources.
