Communication theory.

1. Students will create a visual map of the field of communication theory. They will organize their own personal theory map related to the seven traditions and theories they feel are the most pertinent in communication theory. 2. They will include seven traditions of communication theory, as well as at least three theories for each field. 3. This visual presentation will be created in Prezi, Screencast or VoiceThread with audio. The audio portion will be included in the reflection paper and in a discussion board to share with the class. 4. Students will, also, write a 3-4-page paper that explains their map of the field and justification for each tradition and theories. They will include at least 5 outside sources in this paper. Students will post a link to their presentation in the abstract of this APA formatted paper.
