How gorrilas are captured to be used as pets or trophies and for their body parts
The Research Paper Proposal should contain a proposed paper topic (including thesis statement and explanation of goals), and a list of four potential sources (including at least one primary source). Your topic should NOT be one that has been commonly written about, rather something less well known in an attempt to learn more than what the average person knows about the period. pick a narrow topic and not a broad one that could occupy a much larger work. If you wanted to write about Nixon as president, that is obviously too broad, and therefore, inappropriate for this assignment. If instead, you wanted to consider the role Nixon played during the 1972 Easter Offensive (foreign policy topic), at least that is narrower but still could be a challenge.Papers that discuss a specific political event, discuss an important piece of legislation/speech, or perhaps address a less well-known person’s contribution to the war are better topics. Once we arrive at a solid topic then find a suitable primary source such as a letter, period newspaper article, journal, eyewitness account, etc. to serve as a springboard for your idea. then find 3 more sources. at least have 1 book source (primary source) Devide it into the fallowing sections. 1) Proposed Topic: What is the paper about? Why is it worth writing about? 2) Thesis Statement: What is the (narrow) focus of your paper? What particular historical/political issue is being addressed? 3) Preliminary Bibliography: listing four sources (including one primary source)
