Impacts of Social Media Platforms on Tourism Destination Selection
This document should comprise three sections; an introduction (including the aims and objectives of the research); a literature review in the form of an annotated bibliography; and a methodology section. It is envisaged that students will choose a topic that they may go on to research for their final year individual project. There is no need to actually conduct primary research for this project; the aim is to ensure students can plan a research project appropriately. Extra help can be gained by following the advice on pages 136-143 of Altinay, L and Paraskevas, A (2008) Planning Research in Hospitality and Tourism, Butterworth Heinemann, London or pages 51-100 of Veal, J (2011) Research Methods For Leisure And Tourism: A Practical Guide, Longman, Essex pp.317-340.
