User interest modelling
Work must be submitted in a word document with (.docx) extension and citations within text must be dynamic. I need to review user interest modeling approaches in different types of environments: 1) Massively diverse information wikis such as Wikipedia 2) Books databases 3) MOOCs 4) Research Paper database 5) Microblogs The review should consider the following criteria: 1) Type of environment: as listed above 2) Type of content: unstructured text, structured data such as databases or others, knowledge representations 3) Size of content: I need some ranges to be specified based on the literature, so you will define like between x and y. 4) Diversity of content: Diverse vs specialized in terms of the topics covered 5) Adaptivity: is the model dynamic or static in the sense that is does it adapt to changing user interest or it’s static defined once only. If it adapts does it automatically adapt or requires explicit input from the user. 6) Personaliztion: is it personalized to individual users or it’s general to all users in other words is it defined based on content attributes (what kind of attributes) or is it defined based on user attribute (again how user attributes are define) 7) Representation: how is the user model represented, e.g. using keywords, weighted keyword vectors (what is the weighting scheme used??), using semantic networks, using ontologies (what type of ontologies, or using another techniques … etc. 8) Ease of reusability: is the model easily used in other environments or is highly dependent on the characteristics of the current environment. 9) Complexity: is the model too complex to be redeveloped or adopted by some one else or easy. Type of publications: 1) I’m looking for PhD level review. All cited work must be high quality publications published in well recognized journals or conference proceedings. 2) References are preferred to be from ACM and IEEE sources. 3) I need minimum 10 references for each of the 5 environments 4) References must be original publications (internet reports are not acceptable) 5) Most of the reference should be recent in terms of publication dates ( at least 5 recent publications under each environment dated back to 2017-2018-2019). 6) Citations must be properly formatted using IEEE standard and citations in-text must be dynamic not static. 7) Author list in citation must follow APA style as used in google scholar citations. 8) An introduction highlighting differences between the different environments under question and a discussion of the review and a review table summarizing the review under the required criteria. 9) A discussion of advantages and disadvantages of each approach is required as well.
