Conflict resolution is a vital part of any leadership role. In this assignment you will deal with four scenarios involving conflict within a church environment. Articulate a plan for each scenario that is biblically based and effective for youth ministry. You will develop a presentation of 15-18 slides (not including the title and reference slides) with slide notes and include the following: Part One – Conflict Resolution Outline God’s plan for conflict resolution in the body of Christ. Summarize best practices that you will adopt to navigate through conflict in the ministry. Part Two – Scenarios Identify the specific issues presented in the four scenarios below, a realistic example of what could have created these issues, relevant biblical support for solving these issues, and finally your steps to resolve these issues. You have offended someone. You have been offended by someone. You become aware of a conflict between two members of your youth staff. A leader in the church is criticizing you and spreading false rumors behind your back. Utilize biblical references, course materials, and at least two scholarly references to support your research. While APA style is not required for the body of this assignment, solid academic writing is expected, and documentation of sources should be presented using APA formatting guidelines, which can be found in the APA Style Guide, located in the Student Success Center.
