Research Paper: You will write a 1000 word essay (approximately 3-5 pages) in which you carefully and intelligently analyze primary documents from the Medick and Marschke, Experiencing the Thirty Years War text. You will construct an argument based on at least 3 primary documents from this text. Failure to use at least 3 sources from the Medick text will result in a failing grade. Although the primary documents will provide the main focus of your discussion, you will need to provide support for your argument and historical context by using at least 3 secondary sources. These must be scholarly sources, which means they must include citation and be subject to editorial review. Appropriate secondary sources do not include Dictionaries, encyclopedias, or anything with “wiki” in its name. Internet websites do not meet the criteria. Your textbook is also not considered scholarly, as there is no citation. You will need to cite your sources appropriately. This citation should conform to the Chicago style, with either foot- or endnotes. MLA/APA or any other form will result in an automatic deduction of a letter grade
