Discuss how ideas of “justice,” egalitarianism, or equality evolved throughout the history of the course thus far, from the first civilizations (Egypt, Mesopotamia) to the medieval world (Byzantine Empire, Germanic kingdoms, feudal society). Examine the contributions of at least three civilizations. Use at least six primary sources as evidence for your analysis. This week, you should present your intended outline of your essay. This is an opportunity for further brainstorming with your peers about this assignment.
