Safety chemical and hazard.
If you were hired as a safety manager for a company, your first task as a safety manager is to evaluate the potential hazards in the workplace and develop a safety checklist for the supervisors (including yourself) to follow. Select your choice of workplaces 1. Auto repair shops. You must prepare the followings for submissions (Keep in mind that the submissions must be your own work (in your own words). Failure to comply will result in no grade for your submissions) 1). Workplace information Describe the company with less than 500 words Background of the company, name and type of business Describe the environment and operation of the workplace. (e.g. General office, kitchen, warehouse, …) Space of the workplace (e.g. 2000 sqft, 10000 sqft, …) Conditions of the workplace (e.g lightings, walkways, floors …) Number of employees What do they sell, what do they make, and how do they make (if applicable) Types of equipment/machine used (if applicable) Indicate the potential hazards 2). Create a safety checklist with 20 important safety points 3). Provide a separate sheet to give the justification of each important points.
