This time, you have some options: you will write about Ibsen’s A Doll’s House Read the two scholarly articles about the play that are posted in the mylearning module. Choose one of the articles. Choose a point (find a direct quote from the article) that the scholar makes about the play. Respond to it by either: expanding on the author’s claim to take it in a new, interesting direction (your thesis), or disagreeing with it and asserting your counter-thesis. Do not just simply agree with the article! You must argue something new that is based off the chosen quote from the article, or you must disagree with the quote and prove your argument. Prove your response is valid by using textual evidence from the play. Again, be sure to prove your fully develop your thesis and arguments in the body sections, and provide and contextualize examples and quotes from the play.
