Youth Should Not Stand Trial as Adults

Students will advocate a position on a controversial criminal justice related topic and describe its relevance to social work. Some suggested topics might include (but are not limited to): · Youths tried as adults IS MY SELECTED TOPIC Instructions: Provide the rationale for your position and why it is importance for social work, and where possible, use references to support your perspective. Clear analytical thinking in support of your position, evidence of an adequate literature review, and acknowledgement of and sensitivity to alternate viewpoints are more important than the position taken. All: Papers should comply with standards describes in the Publication Manual of the American Psychological Association, 6th edition.
