Conciliation with the Colonies

In an extended short answer (perhaps more like a very brief essay), please summarize the causes Burke enumerates, and then briefly offer your reaction to his assertions. Is Burke’s speech an insightful window into the American mind of the late eighteenth century and beyond? Or does he have us wrong?
