Description

The main aim of this report is to demonstrate change management skills learned during the lectures in an online simulation at Spectrum Sunglass Company as a change agent. You will analyse your experience in this report. During this subject so far, you have been exposed to various theories about innovation and change management. Being able to apply these concepts in a practical manner is a key outcome of this course. Section 1: Which scenario you were assigned? Attach your conflict management plan you have designed for Harvard Conflict and Power Simulation in week 9. (under Appendixes) Section 2: Analyse your success or failure based on the literature discussed during the lectures. Have you applied your change management plan? Why/Why not? Integrate recent research and “best practice” (1000 words) Section 3: Discuss your learning and what you would do different if you are given a second change? Integrate recent research and “best practice” (500 words) Section 4: Your team went through a change during this lecture. You first worked on a creative project then played a simulation together. Was your team an effective team, an adoptable team, innovative team? How did your team handle this change? Integrate recent research and “best practice” (500 words) Section 5: Spectrum Sunglasses Simulation had a change “Situation”, Your team took some “Actions”, used some “Levers” and “Learned” some new knowledge. 1. . As you can see from the rubric, section 2 and 3 are the most valuable sections and the hardest to write. You need to use your words very wisely to fit in as many theories as you can. For example, if you use force field analysis, instead of explaining forces for and against using your words, a graph would be more effective way so you do not use your valuable 1000 words! Applying these theories, creating graphs and charts take long time. All sections except section 5 are linked to each other. For example, analysing your mistakes in section 2 and what you would do different in section 3 are directly linked together. 2. Even though this is a report format, you are not required to write an executive summary. 3. Section 1: According to assignment you need to include your change management plan under Appendix. You can include rest of the information requested under Introduction such as the scenario you played.
