Class Structure and Poverty
Paper details The topic for this research paper is of your own choosing—a topic that you personally find especially interesting as long as it is relevant to the class and can be considered an issue in Canadian society. The research paper is to be 5 double-spaced pages in length. Use the APA system of referencing. Research Paper Marking Criteria Before submitting your research paper, ask yourself the following questions: • Was the topic relevant to the Sociology class and did it present some Sociological analysis? • Did you have the appropriate number of reference sources required from a combination of different resources or did you access only a limited source such as the Internet? Since this is a reference paper, you are being tested on how well you can conduct research in a number of available mediums. • Did your referencing sources follow the APA standard system of referencing? • Was your paper the correct number of pages assigned excluding your cover page and your References page or Works Cited page? Papers that are considerably longer or shorter may be penalized. • Were your pages numbered, were the paragraphs indented, and was the paper double-spaced? • Were the spelling and grammar reflective of expectant university standards? • Did the first paragraph of your paper specifically outline the issues that your paper will be addressing?
