Deepwater Horizon

 GIS can be a powerful tool when addressing environmental issues. As we have learned throughout the course, GIS can be used to demonstrate the extent of a problem as well as provide solutions to solving these issues. Consider the BP oil spill, Deepwater Horizon, which occurred in 2010. If you were required to develop a GIS regarding this situation, what information would you include? When developing your answer, make sure that you consider the environmental, socio-economic, human health, and political uses for a GIS, and address how you would incorporate each of these factors.
