Common Core State Standards (CCSS)

 This is an education mini- research paper. You are expected to submit a 3 page paper of original, double-spaced work (not a web document） What are the main tenets of the Common Core State Standards (CCSS)? Explain the main arguments for and against the CCSS. Discuss a few of the social problems created by the CCSS – particularly for schools serving high-poverty communities. Based on your research, how would you modify the CCSS so that the standards more evenly benefit all students?
