Term Paper Requirements Objective: Have you learn how to read technical papers in our discipline (Computer Science), explain the content as they apply to a problem, summarize what you have learned and what you would explore next. 1. Each paper should be about 25 pages inclusive of figures, references, and content, but exclusive of the cover page. 2. Times New Roman, 1-1/2 line spacing, page numbers at bottom of page, centered. 3. Each paper should have headers for major sections. Header should be numbered but NO more than three levels deep, e.g., 1.2.3 4. Each paper should have at least 10 technical references chosen from journals. DO NOT use Wikipedia as a reference. If you want to use it to define a term, you may do so, but note that you did. ALL but one paper must have a publication date from 2010 or later. 5. Sources of papers are: IEEE Explor Digital Library, ACM Digital Library, CiteSeer, JSTOR, etc. These are available through Gelman Library. 6. Do not use product brochures, etc. as references unless you receive approval from me. You may use White Papers published by reputable firms in addition to the 10 refereed papers.
