, Goals, and Objectives Revised Research Question: Marijuana; the impact it has on young African American males and the implications of its legalization in the criminal justice system. The research is guided by the following sub-questions: 1. What social justice effects does the legalization of marijuana has on young African American males as it relates to the criminal justice system? 2. What is the justice system’s role as it pertains to the effects marijuana legalization has on young African Americans? 3. ??? A 3rd sub question is needed Main Goal: The purpose of this study is to examine the impact marijuana use has on young African American males, the criminal justice system role, and to propose recommendations to reduce the social justice issues. The research is guided by the following objectives: 1. To identify the effects legalization of marijuana has on African American males as it relates to the criminal justice system. 2. To examine the criminal justice system’s role as it pertains to the effects marijuana legalization has on young African Americans.
