ASSIGNMENT #1: PRIMARY MOVERS
PURPOSE: To demonstrate the comprehension of basic anatomy and human movement and the ability to apply these fundamental theories to exercise prescription. Important is the ability to select appropriate and safe exercises which target the desired outcome as well as effectively describing how to execute each of the movements.
LEARNING OUTCOME: • Recognize postural/muscle imbalances that can impact movement. • Identify exercise prescription skills in order to design the best program for each client.
ASSIGNMENT DESCRIPTION: Refer to the guidelines for completing assignments found in your course outline and student manual. Please provide in APA format a list of references which you used to complete this assignment. You are required to seek out various and respectable sources of information to use in the completion of your assignment to ensure your work demonstrates current, reliable and widely accepted information in this field of study. Please do not use pictures from the internet.
