A story where children can understand easily, and you have to illustrate the picture for the text.(not draw) THIS IS AN EXAMPLE OF THE PROPER PICTURE BOOK FORMAT. “Julian is a Mermaid” by Jessica Love -Narrator: This is boy named Julian. And this is his Abuela. And those are mermaids. -Narrator: Julian loves mermaids. The illustrated picture: [Julian is on the subway but imagines he is swimming underwater in just his underwear] – Abuela: Vamonos mi hijo. This is our stop. -Julian: Abuela, did you see the mermaids? -Abuela: I saw them, mijo. The illustrated picture: [Julian exits the subway and waves at three mermaids still on the train]
