Analyze how the Civil Rights Movements and other social turmoil in the 1950s and 1960s affected the Black people that we have discussed and read about. In you’re answer consider the effect this group in turn had on the event being analyzed.
The essay must have a clear thesis statement. The thesis statement should reflect your perspective or an incite you have on the prompt you choose to write about based on the class readings, participation in class discussions . The difference between opinion and perspective is the former is judging and the latter is analyzing. The thesis statement must be supported by a minimum of 2 main points. 3 main points are recommended. The main points must be supported by specific facts, data, and/or evidence. All direct quotes, ideas, and facts pulled directly from a source, as well as all statistics, must be properly cited. The class textbook must be cited at least once in the essay. Use parenthetical MLA style citations with a citation page at the end of the essay.
