Then write an essay that makes an argument for whether or not we should be concerned by “the second machine age.” Technology is advancing at a rapid pace, and with the progress scientists have made with artificial intelligence, many white collar jobs, such as accountants, lawyers ans doctors, might be performed by machines. While there are many benefits to these advancements, some are concerned that the loss of these jobs will have a negative impact on income inequality and social mobility. Others suggest that this progress will open the door to greater possibility for employment and wealth. Based on what you have read and seen in the article and video above, how cautious (or not) should we be about embracing these advancements?
