Sexual Harassment in Greece

 Here are my research question again : 1. What is the prevalence of female sexual harassment in Greece? 2. What is the perception of women about it/what they think would consist Sexual Harassment? 3.What are peoples’ views about how social media represent sexual harassment? (twitter, facebook , #metoo movement etc) I need to introduce my research topic and state why it is of interest and/or sociological significance. I need to persuade them from the introduction. So basically it has two main roles: i. to elaborate on the material summarised in the abstract, ii. to introduce the content included in the dissertation The reason I wanted to write about that topic is that it’s still a taboo issue for greek people, especially for women. It is best explained by the general secretary for gender equality : ”Greek society, despite the important steps forward in recent years, remains mainly patriarchal. The mentality is still determined by stereotypes relating to traditional gender roles. This is why I wanted to research social situations and everyday life (almost zero greek research on that) because I also want to argue that many workplace sexual harassments take place in social places, like after work drinks etc. If you could find any literature for that, that would be great. In my introduction I also need to explain and justify why I only concentrated to social media and not media in general.
