How social media platforms can affect the movies’ box office
s I have attached the methodology and outline of the essay. You need to finish the rest of the dissertation( abstract, literature review, finding, discuss and conclusion). Abstract: This research is intended to find the effect of text criticize in social media platform to the movie box office. We use qualitative method to transform the text criticize into variables, and use quantative method to find the effect provided by text criticize. Then the place we got the data, data size, and our conclusion. Literature Review: 2 introduce the theory of WOM and it’s application, 1 introduce a past research to connect WOM with selling, 1 introduce the qualitative method we use. Method: Now I have finished this part and uploaded it. I hope it can give you some reference. the part you finish can be related to it. Finding: a) how do we transform the text into variables, b) after the text being transformed into variables, what does it looks like, c) what is the relation between the variable we build with the movie box office Discuss: Possible hypothesis to explain the relation, and possibilities to distinguish them. Conclusion: What relation is shown between the text criticize and the box office, how this may be useful, base on our limitation, how could we improve this research, what can other researchers do to follow this research.
