Iron age artifact
For each artifact you discuss, answer the following questions in your presentation or document: what is the name of the artifact, according to the Metropolitan Museum of Art label? Where was it made or what civilization made it? When was it made? (Remember that your artifacts must be from the Egyptian, Near Eastern, and Greek and Roman galleries, and the date they were created must be before 200 AD.) And for each artifact you discuss, what are at least three tools, materials, processes, or technologies from our course materials that you think went into its creation? (Include a brief description of how you think the ancient artifact was made in your document or presentation.) For example, if you’ve chosen an Egyptian stone statue, what type of stone is it, and how would the Egyptians have obtained and carved that stone, according to our course readings?
